Dear Mr Rusty
How are you kind sir! Sorry about the lack of schooling but like my present posts show; I was a bit of a rebel and didn’t take kindly to “Instant Obedience”.
I left Saint Columbus High school in Greenock (Unofficially) at twelve! Was persuaded back at thirteen and left officially at fourteen in year! 19-37.

Please don’t blame the School mister Rusty as it was there that I was asked by Mr Maguire our maths teacher the following question:
How many times would a billiard ball with a nine inch circumference roll on a twelve foot billiard table? My answer was “Once” which had me ejected from the class again.

Snooker balls Mr Rusty do not roll and can’t be made to “Roll”. The ball is moved by thrust force with centre striking in “Skid” motion but when the ball is addressed off centre it also revolves in that specific “Axes” whether 4 to10 or 2 to eight.

By the way my educated friend this bit of copyright knowledge applies to all “Balls”. The golf ball may “Roll”! But will only Roll once before becoming stationary.

Ronnie O Sullivan along with MJW and Mark Allen has been refused by Nigel Mawer the W/S Regulator the chance to front a possible multi million pound worldwide copyright coaching industry. The lad should have had the option to choose. Not dictated by a Matchroom ex-darts operator that dictates who is unworthy of snooker sponsorships.

It’s nice that your fellow coach Nic Barrow has been invited to contribute monthly to the Clive Everton many choices of books and DVDs.

I presume it fulfils a “Jam Tomorrow” promise by the coaching establishment to Nic from yester years.

Good luck to Mr Nic Barrow and all the other snooker coaches (Including Pro Players) advertising hopefully in Snooker Scene.

Its amazing Del that the owners of Snooker Scene have never asked for written proof of copyright ownership a measure demanded usually from reputable publishers’ State schools and public library’s.

Clive Everton has probable got his “Back” covered (Legally) Del as he is a shrewd operator and boasts of the £200,000 plus he took from Sir Rodney and World Snooker in damages

Nic and these other Advertisers will probable have a written guarantee from Clive for any possible damage claims.

Almost every "Gong Holder" in snooker has advertised and used the Joe Davis copyright without showing written permission from Joe or June Davis.

Its sad Clive that one reminder from you in Snooker Scene  and the Joe Davis coaching method would not have ever been violated.

How are you sir! You have my support and sympathy for the raw deal served out by Barry Hearn. Other board members will have to take "Blame" but it is really all about Barry's 51% for Matchroom.

The Q School was a great idea lad but you didn't need permission to appoint pink shirt "Coaches".The idea by Terry Griffiths and others to extract money from your gullible members was a "Giant Con Trick".

Terry nor anyone else has the legal authority to award diplomas or coaching certificates. Terry's position as chief coach has no legal value without written copyright status.

Your wonderful charity club sir gave extraordinary credibility to many greedy people on the make. Every conned student should be offered there money back and given a free Joe Davis library book.

How are you! I would be honoured to award a few "Fine Art" books on coaching to keen lady players as I think that snooker is dead and the girls will attract sponsorship from "Ladies gear and Cosmetics".

Snooker, Pool and all cue sports should have no concessions for gender as the games are really branches of Technique timing and Choreography.

How are you lass! As you can see by the above date this wee note was written long before you demanded that I prove my copyright status (If any)
To the all members seeking enlightenment on “Copyright” status! Having a Copyright is the ultimate in every business and obviously unique.

To simplify! No person can “Legally” publish the words or coach the art of Snooker. The fact that we have champions coaching the game simply means that they (Snooker Academies) have monopolised the Joe Davis copyright without permission from Joe or June Davis..

If any person or school had permission to “Coach Snooker” it would proudly claim Copyright and show the copyright © symbol.
Please note! The Fine Art method is not the original coaching method but was and is advertised openly as an “Alternative” coaching method to the many Joe Davis books.

The Fine Art Method is now “Unique” as the Joe Davis Copyright method is now being ignored officially by the BBC, World Snooker and the "Gambling Industry" the games main sponsors, plus and has been (Unofficially) declared  null and void.

How are you sir! Congratulations on becoming a snooker coach.I presume you got a Certificate or a written diploma from June the widow and heir of Joe Davis?

Sadly Joe didn't live long enough to see his coaching method become a worldwide industry.I often wonder Mike if June Davis or a Rep' had a say at the "Tobacco Table" as June lived 20 more years and died quite recently in a nursing home.

I was sorry to see your departure with Peter Ebdon from the WPBSA board as snooker boards need more players as opposed to hand picked disciples of Barry Hearn.

Its amazing Mike that pro Snooker is almost 100 years old but the first coaching club (Matchroom) is a mere ten years old but coaching is greater (financially) than the Tobacco subsides of the eighties.

You must be aware Mike that the Joe Davis library books on coaching snooker to an advance standard are still copyright and from June's death another 68 years to run.

A word of advice Mike! Buy a clearly signed Certificate on coaching from Terry Griffiths though you are a pro' player.

Barry refused the offer of a copyright to control coaching. If each bandit coach gave 2% to 5% of there hourly coaching rate to World Snooker as tournament prize money it would exceed the long gone Tobacco Sponsors.
